Some of the best parts of doing what I do is the people I meet, the team that grows daily and the incredible support that goes with it. Not a day goes by that a question comes up that I am able to take to my team and get immediate answers and encouragement. For me this is so incredibly important. As an athletic therapist by trade I come from team based environments, and for me the team atmosphere is so incredibly important!
Today I’d like to introduce you to Tara, one of our teams newer members. Tara has been inspiring from the first day she joined and has graciously consented to share some of her success with us today!
So without further a-due, I am happy to introduce Tara to you!
Me: When and why did you start working online?
Tara: I started working online a little over two months ago. I had already quit my corporate job 2.5 years ago because I was tired of wasting my days away sitting behind a desk doing the same thing over and over. I realized life is too short to not be out enjoying it every day and taking advantage of the time we’re given. However, I didn’t really have a plan of how to earn an income after I quit my job, so I just juggled lots of part-time side jobs to pay my bills. Then I came across the opportunity to learn how to work online a few months ago and jumped at the opportunity…best decision I could have ever made!
Me: What was the hardest part about getting started?
Tara: The hardest part was just making the decision to start and taking a chance on the “unknown.” I had no idea where working online would lead me…if it was going to be a great success or a huge failure. However, I was willing to take a chance because I knew if I could make it work…it would lead to great places!
Me: Now that you’re up and running, what’s the hardest part?
Tara: The hardest part now is not being distracted by all the “shiny objects” and new marketing programs I’m approached with from other marketers. So many people fail because they get distracted from their main goal and try to do 5-10 things at once rather than just focusing on perfecting one thing. Every day, I tell myself…just focus on perfecting this one thing. Don’t worry about all those other things out there. So far it’s worked out pretty well.
Me: If you’re comfortable telling us, how long did it take you to make your first $5,000?
Tara: It took me about 6 weeks to make my first $5,000.
Me: What’s the top 3 best things about working remotely as an affiliate marketer?
Freedom…I can work from anywhere I want as long as I have data or wifi coverage
I’m my own boss…I don’t have to report to anyone
More time…since most everything is automated, I only have to work a couple hours a day. Now I have the time to travel and adventure almost every day of the week
Me: Do you have a blog that some of our members could have a look at that you’d like to share?
Tara: Sure, it’s www.vacay365.net. It’s still a work in progress, haha.
Thank you Tara for spending the time to help motivate our group! You continue to be a incredible inspiration to me and its wonderful sharing this community with you!
Happy Monday Everyone!
